A canine carol: The 12 dogs of Christmas

In the spirit of inclusiveness for the four-legged members of our families, the team at Paws N’ All have made up our own Christmas carol… The 12 dogs of Christmas!

It goes a little something like this:

**On the first day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the second day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the third day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the fourth day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the fifth day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the sixth day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**6 Great Danes playing, FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the seventh day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**7 Staffies swimming, 6 Great Danes playing, FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the eighth day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**8 Whippets winking, 7 Staffies swimming, 6 Great Danes playing, FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the ninth day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**9 Boxers boxing, 8 Whippets winking, 7 Staffies swimming, 6 Great Danes playing, FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the tenth day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**10 Labs-a-leaping, 9 Boxers boxing, 8 Whippets winking, 7 Staffies swimming, 6 Great Danes playing, FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me…**11 Pointers pointing, 10 Labs-a-leaping, 9 Boxers boxing, 8 Whippets winking, 7 Staffies swimming, 6 Great Danes playing, FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!

**On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true ruff gave to me… [deep breath!]**12 Dachshunds dashing, 11 Pointers pointing, 10 Labs-a-leaping, 9 Boxers boxing, 8 Whippets winking, 7 Staffies swimming, 6 Great Danes playing, FIVE HAVANESE, 4 calling Cavvies, 3 French Bulldogs, 2 Dobermans, and a poodle digging up my pear tree!
